This Lenten season I don’t have any plans of going out of town. I will just stay home and have a very peaceful vacation. I can schedule out of town trips some other season for now I would like to enjoy the peace and the quiet that the Lenten season brings. While I am at it I would take the opportunity to organize my personal stuff. I could finally use my Tack Trunk that I bought a couple of years back. I am already excited. Sorting and organizing my stuff has been my long time priority on my to-do list. Hopefully I get to finish it by the time vacation is over.

Very important to wear a dress comfortable with the natural shape of your body, dressing yourself to appear slimmer can give you the boost in self confidence you need. Dressing right can make you look thinner without dropping even a pound.

Get the right fit, make it sure your clothes you wear are right size, dressing clothes that are too small for you will accentuate to any problem areas. You might think that wearing clothes that are too big will hide lumps and bumps but really it just makes you look bigger than you are and hides the positive attributes in your body.

Stripes, wearing stripes is advantages so that you will look slimmer. Pinstripes and thin vertical and diagonal lines make your body appear longer. If you wear in a formal occasion a pinstripe suit is ideal. Avoid horizontal stripes, they give illusion of widening your body; make you look larger than you really are.

Color, dressing monochromatic fashion can make you look slimmer. People often say that black makes you look thinner; well it is true the same can be said of dressing completely in any color. so find a color that suits to your skin tone and put together an entire outfit in it. Remember, it is fine to use different shades and tone at the same color and still look more slender.

I always believed that I have it in me, the entrepreneurial inkling. At first I was hesitant to go to Entrepreneur Avenue but after a lot of thinking realization came, I know I can do it and be a successful one. My first venture would be tarpaulin printing which includes yard signs printing since advertising is one of the lucrative businesses nowadays. I could also hone my graphic design skills at the same time so this would be an enjoyable journey for me. I just hope that I would be able to battle through all the business hindrances and setbacks that comes with it. If I could then I would be very proud of myself.

There are some few tips in selecting a lipstick that match to your face and the occasion, but you must need to consider your lips color as well as your skin tone, adding you want to take of what time of the day you will be wearing a lipstick.

Gauge your lips color, pale lips wear a pinks and sandy color. Medium lip tone wear shade brown and rose color, and dark lips wear deep color like raisins. You must consider also your skin tone; if your skin tone is cool you are going to be better off choosing colors with blue or pink. Warm tones need to lean toward brown or bronze undertones.

You can wear soft version of lipstick color during daytime. Your lips should not stand out against the rest of your cosmetics. If it is, you either used too much lipstick or too dark or bright colors. Select darker shade of your traditional day wear when you are going out for the evening. It will show more and add bit more drama to your overall look.

Think your clothes, if you are wearing all red you should wear pink lipstick, instead find a shade of red that match to your suit you coloring. You must know your habits; if you do not want to be bothered with reapplying lipstick throughout the day consider long lasting lipstick. Be aware that you need to apply the accompanying moisturizer if you have dry lips. Lip glosses typically need to reapply in regular basis.

Most of the women know what color in their wardrobe flatter their skin tone and her hair color, beyond that think about what clothes flatter your figure type. Start by examining yourself in full mirror that reflect your figure correctly. Assess your overall body shape or your figure type. Decide if your figure fits the hourglass type, top heavy type, bottom heavy type or middle heavy type.

Wear wrap dresses, belt and fitted bodice jackets and tops if you determine that your overall body type is an hourglass your bust and hips are about the same width and your waist is narrow.

Wear v-neck top which elongates the chest if you determine that your overall body type is top heavy, that is! Most of your weight is the top half of your figure. Avoid scoop neck tops and horizontal stripes which tend to make your bust appear larger. For clothing below the waist choose clothing with volume like wide leg slacks and full skirt.

Choose a-line skirt or dress in dark colors if your overall body type is bottom heavy, most of your weight is in bottom half of your figure. In choosing clothing styles stay away from tapered pant legs and/or light fabric that cling to the legs. For the above waist concentrate on ruffled or embellished shirts and tops.

Wear properly fitting bra which will naturally create visual division or break between your bust and tummy if you determine that your overall body type is middle heavy or your waist is undefined. In choosing clothing styles, for an empire waist dress and heavy material that will fall into a a-line appearance.

Who says that we don’t need business cards in this digital age? I read somewhere that there will come a time that we won’t be needing business cards. Well I beg to disagree. We still need business card because not all business transactions are conducted under the power of internet. Businesses actually need actual meetings in order to establish a good rapport between two companies. It is one of the basic marketing SOP, having to meet the person behind every business transaction. So I don’t think that we won’t be needing business cards anytime soon. I think business cards would be around and very reliable up until the next decades.

There are many ways to save money on your wedding without compromising on style. A lot of the time if you choose to do the work yourself you can save a huge amount as with most suppliers you are paying for their labour more than anything else. Let’s have a look at some of the different parts of a wedding and how you can keep the costs down.

-Choose flowers that are in season at the time of your wedding as these will be much more affordable than those which are not.
-If doing your flowers yourself then buy them at your local flower market as opposed to florist stores.
-For your reception tables choose designs that are simple and incorporate other things such as decorative vases and candles so that all the emphasis is not on the flowers as this will take the pressure off a little bit.

-Go for buttercream icing instead of fondant as it is cheaper
-Stick to a simple design so that your labour costs are minimal
-Choose cupcakes instead of a cake as they can easily be made and decorated at home.

-Choose a digital photographer and ask for your photos on a disc instead of in an expensive album
-Just have your photographer there for the ceremony and provide disposable cameras on your reception tables for the guests to take shots in the evening.
-Give a newbie a change. Choose someone newly qualified as they will be much cheaper but always make sure you see lots of examples of their work first!

I sorted out my music stuff and I decided to sell a bunch of it including my akai mpd24 from musicians friend at a very reasonable price.  It’s some kind of inventory sale like on malls. I came up with this idea because I noticed that I’d been piling up a lot of stuff on my room. It’s kind of look like I am turning into a hoarder. Most of my things are music related because obviously music is one of my main passions in life. Hopefully I get to convert my old stuff into money and could enroll myself on a music class of some sort. That would be awesome.
